We must do all we can as Catholics and Knights to defeat FOCA. It is clearly immoral, yet it is supported by liberals in congress. The new president has already expressed his enthusiasm about signing this deplorable piece of legislation. FOCA If this passes, it will lead to unbridled murder in the form of unrestricted abortions at any stage of fetal development. This type of legislation is about the most blatant example of state interference with the Church! We must not sit idly by and allow the government to dictate that even those medical professionals, who until now have refused to perform abortions based on religious/moral objections, would be forced to do so under the law.
